topped the Chainsaw Proctologists by the slimmest of margins, 7 to 6.
The game was deadlocked at 6 after nine full innings. Columbus came out on
top in the 12th inning. Nate McLouth smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his
5th of the season) making Columbus victorious to the delight of the the home
town crowd. Columbus rapped out 13 hits for the afternoon.
Jorge De La Rosa(2-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Jason Hirsh(5-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 1 hit and no
walks without retiring a batter.
